Whatcom County Farms

Whatcom County produces over $290 million worth of crops, livestock and dairy products each year on over 100,000 acres of land. Whatcom County raspberry farms grow more than 79% of red raspberries in the state. Many of the farms are open seasonally for we-pick and u-pick produce. Please call ahead to see what each farm has to offer, as well as their hours, fees and availability to do tours.

Bellewood Acres
, Lynden

Bellewood Acres is just six miles north of Bellingham and is one of the Northwest's largest apple orchards. This farm is open year round offering tours and many family-friendly events in all seasons. In addition to tours and events, Bellewood Acres has a farm market, bistro and bakery. At the market, purchase some of their delicious apple cider and some artisan cheeses. Stay for a light lunch at the bistro. There is so much to offer at this farm. Check the website for directions, fees and hours of operation.

Cloud Mountain Farm Center, Everson
Cloud Mountain Farm Center is home to the Annual Fall Fruit Festival in early October and this has been an annual event for over 23 years! In August, the farm offers the Summer Harvest Day where you can tour the farm and there are 45 different fruits and vegetables to sample! Whatcom County Farm Tour is always held the second Saturday in September. It is a self-guided, family-friendly tour of many of the farms in Whatcom County. There are many activities for the children, including tractor rides, U-pick vegetables, seeing many farm animals and cooking and composting demonstrations.
