Our libraries in Whatcom County are amazing! They offer FREE programming to EVERYONE and you do not need to have a library card to participate.

During the summer, the libraries in Whatcom County offer Summer Reading Programs where kids register and commit to reading throughout the summer. At the end of the summer they can celebrate with the libraries and have a chance to win prizes!

Whatcom County Summer Reading Programs

B-I-N-G-O spells great fun with reading this summer at the Bellingham Public Library and the Whatcom County Library System Libraries throughout the county! Get a bingo or blackout and enter to win prizes. Reading in all formats counts: read on your device, listen in your car or pick up a new print paperback. Summer reading programs for everyone — kids, teens and adults — are from June 1 to August 31, 2019. 

Locations: Central Library, Fairhaven Branch & Barkley Branch. 
WCLS Locations: Ferndale, Lynden, Blaine, Sumas, Maple Falls, South Whatcom, Lummi Island, Point Roberts and Deming
